Blinds in Gorg: coastal area and high density
Gorg is located a short distance from the sea, and the influence of marine salt affects especially the buildings with east-facing façades. The aluminium blinds in these blocks gradually accumulate corrosion on the slats and inside the housing box, a process that accelerates on ground floors and in buildings with no balcony enclosure for protection.
The pace of life in the neighbourhood — with high tenant turnover and flats that change hands frequently — means many blinds reach a new owner without ever having been serviced. In these cases it is common to find several problems accumulated at once: worn strap, slack winder and one or two broken slats. We sort everything out in a single visit.
