Blinds in the centre: heavy use and marine environment
The centre of Badalona is just metres from the sea, and buildings with east-facing façades feel the marine salt in their mechanisms. The most common problem in this area is the combination of heavy use and lack of maintenance: blinds raised and lowered several times a day for decades, with straps and winders that have never been serviced.
In commercial premises in the centre it is common to attend metal-slat roller shutters that have come off their guide or whose motor has stopped responding. We also cover this type of commercial blind.
