Tiana is a quiet Maresme municipality on the hillside of the coastal range, between Montgat and El Masnou, with a distinctly residential character of detached houses surrounded by pine forests. Although it has no direct sea access, its proximity to the coast and exposure to the llevant wind mean blinds need more frequent attention than further inland. At Persianista BCN 24H we cover Tiana with 24-hour service.

Tiana: detached houses and llevant wind
Tiana’s housing stock is dominated by detached houses and semi-detached homes, with very few apartment blocks. This means blinds are generally larger and more exposed to the wind than in the block-built coastal municipalities.
The most common faults in Tiana are aluminium slats bent by gusts of llevant wind, especially on south-east-facing facades, and large-format blinds that have become unbalanced because the axle has lost tension over the years. There is also considerable demand for motorisation in recently renovated homes.
